Jean "Toots" Thielemans, while the perennial winner of countless such polls, has elevated the harmonica to much more than a "miscellaneous instrument". Well into his 80's, Toot's harp swings with passion, lyricism, and rich melodic beauty. And he interprets music with the same elegance on guitar. This night, as is often the case, he joyfully collaborated with Kenny Werner on piano, and Oscar Castro-Neves on guitar.
