Last night, as if on schedule, it started to rain again. Still is today. Good thing they sprayed all the slopes with a nice green erosion control mulch/seed combo.

Not sure what brand they used, but it's a wood-based product, mixed with grass seed, that aborbs water and promotes rapid turf coverage. Could be this stuff - don't know for sure. We brought some home and planted it - check it out. Terra Dynamics did the job.

The hydraulic application made for a quick and easy transformation. At first I thought maybe they were matching the color scheme of the Benson Waterfront Streetcar line, or paying tribute to the Seattle Storm's team colors and WNBA Western Conference championship - someone in this city should!

They finished the application about the same time the last straw was spread on the upper lot. Ready for the rain, the sloping grades and drainage prep are nicely high lighted by the green stuff - looking south down Elliott on the western edge of the upper lot, the eastern edge of the lower lot, and the western edge along the RR tracks. Let it pour.
